Selma Missoum, connue sous le nom d’artiste « Nevernotawkward, » est née à Rabat, au Maroc, le 21 décembre 1995. Elle est à la fois peintre et illustratrice Digital. Depuis 2015, elle exprime son art à travers le dessin, et depuis 2020, elle a embrassé la
peinture comme moyen d’expression.
En 2021, elle a fait le choix de se consacrer pleinement à sa passion, en faisant de l’art son métier à temps plein. Les influences artistiques de Selma incluent des figures notables telles que Miranda Makaroff, Robert Combas, Bernard Buffet ou encore Bahram Hajjou.
À travers son travail, elle explore l’introspection et l’analyse de sa double culture franco marocaine, tout en cherchant à explorer le monde des émotions pour les utiliser comme une puissante source créative.
